Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - Agusman, Chief Executive of the Financial Services Authority (OJK), Supervisory Agency for Financing Institutions, Venture Capital Companies, Microfinance Institutions, and Other Financial Services Institutions (PVML), reported that the finance industry, venture capital companies, microfinance institutions (MFIs), online loans, and pawnshops generally performed positively in the first half of 2026. The Financial Services Authority (OJK) recorded 1.7% growth in multifinance financing, totaling IDR 513 trillion, and is targeted to grow to nearly 6% by 2026. Venture capital grew 0.09% year-on-year (yoy) to IDR 16 trillion, in line with increasingly selective venture capital investment distribution in the face of uncertainty.
