Discover the 4 Fighting Bowie Knife Backcuts | James Keating | Bill Bagwell | Damascus Bowie

The Bowie Knife is all but synonymous with the Backcut. A legendary technique that is blindingly lethal yet easy to teach and to learn. In this video, Rolando Estocada shares with his audience the 4 types of Bowie Backcuts, several of which he named after the founders of the Bowie Combatives Movement: 1) The Keating Backcuts - the simplest and most recognizable of the 4, the Keating Backcut is the perennial “flick of the wrist” backcut technique that has surprising biomechanics to support it. 2) The Bagwell Backcut - the full-body version of the Backcut, this technique is based on Bill’s actual execution of his Backcut, which comes from hip rotation and a powerful slashing technique. 3) The Kojiro Backcut - named after the legendary swordsman and duellist, the Kojiro Backcut delivers quick and shallow cuts in rapid succession, which is surprisingly effective and is the most complex of the 4 4) The Estocada Backcut - innovated by Rolando Garcia III, this Backcut requires loose shoulder mechanics to fully deliver a blinding Backcut just above the skull. This is his personal favorite, and the one he finds the easiest to teach. I hope you enjoy this video! 🙏🏽🔥👊🏽
