After a quick Fast Track immigration process, I headed to what many consider one of the world's finest airline lounges. The Turkish Airlines Business Lounge immediately lives up to its reputation. Spanning an enormous space, it offers numerous live cooking stations serving freshly prepared Turkish and international cuisine throughout the day. During breakfast, the selection alone was enough to keep me wandering for several minutes before deciding what to eat. Beyond the dining experience, the lounge also features luxurious shower suites, private meeting rooms, comfortable relaxation areas, transit sleeping suites for eligible passengers with long layovers, and even a small museum showcasing the history of Turkish Airlines. It genuinely feels more like a premium terminal than an airport lounge. Boarding the Airbus A350-900, the warm Turkish hospitality continued from the very first moment. I settled into seat 1A inside the airline's modern 1-2-1 Business Class cabin, where every passenger enjoys direct aisle access. The curved shell surrounding each seat creates a comfortable sense of privacy without making the cabin feel enclosed. Multiple storage compartments, adjustable lighting, a vanity mirror, premium Denon noise-cancelling headphones, and excellent overall ergonomics make this one of the most thoughtfully designed Business Class seats I've flown. Shortly after boarding, the onboard Flying Chef personally introduced the extensive menu before the crew began the welcome service. Breakfast turned out to be one of the highlights of the entire flight. The meal featured an authentic Turkish breakfast with local cheeses, fresh breads, Turkish specialties, fruit, honey, Turkish coffee, and an excellent main course. Afterward, the crew transformed my seat into a fully lie-flat bed complete with a mattress topper, duvet, and multiple pillows, making it easy to enjoy several hours of uninterrupted sleep during the nearly 14-hour journey. One of the standout features of Turkish Airlines Business Class is the onboard Flying Chef. Shortly after takeoff, the chef personally introduced the menu before returning throughout the meal service to prepare dishes, recommend options, and plate each course directly from the meal trolley. Combined with an extensive selection of Turkish mezze, freshly baked bread, appetizers, main courses, desserts, and drinks, the experience felt remarkably refined.
