Cattle rancher José Carlos Bumlai, a friend of former President Lula, said this Wednesday (November 14, 2018) that the purchase of the Atibaia, São Paulo, ranch was a surprise from Marisa Letícia to the former president. "From what he [Jacó Bittar] told me, Ms. Marisa already knew, and it was a surprise to the president," he said when questioned by Judge Gabriela Hardt, who replaced Sérgio Moro in the 13th Federal Court in Curitiba.
