Today I made super chewy and creamy Potato Gnocchi from scratch ✧ and even deep-fried some Crispy Jumbo Shrimp 🍤 One of my subscribers requested gnocchi, and I finally gave it a try! I thought it would be easy, but it actually took quite a while: boiling a bunch of fresh potatoes, mashing them, shaping the dough, boiling it, and then pan-frying... To get that perfect chewy texture, I used a mix of potato starch and tapioca starch instead of flour! As expected, the chewiness was next level—like extra bouncy potato rice cakes with a rich cheesy aroma, and it paired perfectly with the thick, creamy sauce 😦❤️👍🏻 The jumbo shrimp were so crispy they could scratch your mouth if you weren’t careful 😂 but even without the sauce, they were super nutty and flavorful. And when dipped into the cream sauce? Total dopamine overload ✨ I didn’t expect the gnocchi portion to be that small, which honestly surprised me, but thankfully there was enough sauce left to dip the shrimp in!
