1. Insert the condenser Open the aperture diaphragm completely Turn the condenser as far up as possible Adjust the brightness to a comfortable level Focus the image Close the field diaphragm Move the condenser up and down until the illuminated ring is in focus Move the illuminated ring to rhe center of the field of view by turning the condenser adjustment screws INFO: Field of view Open the field diaphragm until the field of view is jts completely covered Set the value of the aperture diaphragm to the value of the objective used, e.g. 10x Turn the aperture diaphragm until you have found the best subjective position for resolution, contrast and depth of field INFO: The microscope can now be used for examination of samples using the Koehler illumination method ..
