Every area of a target’s life is attacked with efforts to destroy and destabilize the target. Targets are falsely accused, slandered, set up for fake crimes, objectified and exploited, experience privacy infringements, stalked, harassed, experience vandalism, and overall abuse; the most heinous in nature. Not only is their physical world obliterated, but a targeted individual’s ability to trust in people, such as their own family, community, employer, church group, medical providers, and the very systems intended to protect victims, often fail them. A target’s perception of humankind and overall trust in people and systems is forever changed after experiencing such high-level attacks and hate crimes by a large group. This is a dynamic in which a group of people unite for the sole purpose of harming one lone individual. The damage is immense to every area of the target’s life, but it goes far beyond the damage to their career, their reputation, their relationships, their finances, their safety, their peace of mind… It extends to their permanent perception of the world around them. It takes considerable intention and effort for someone who has experienced this high-level injustice, corruption, and extreme bullying to maintain a soft heart and not become embittered by experiencing such violation and intentional destruction to their life….their precious life. A targeted individual’s life is equally precious and has just as much value as anyone else’s. Their rights and protections should be equal to anyone else’s. There is no justification to treat a targeted individual as if they are less deserving of the same rights, freedoms, and protections as everyone else.
