If we obey God, we can overcome the flesh, says Pastor Livingston. There is power in the cross to defeat sin; however, Scripture says we must repent of all sin. Submitting to God and repenting every day delivers us from sin. Jesus paid the penalty of sin on the cross and the Holy Spirit gives us power to overcome sin, so if we repent and turn from sin, we can be in God’s presence one day.
