60 km solo bivouac tour on the Thuringian Sea | Hiking tour with overnighter along the Saale (Hohenwarte reservoir) in the Thuringian Slate Mountains I'll take you on a 4-day hiking tour along the Saale in Thuringia - also called the "Thuringian Sea". The starting point is the parking lot at the Hohenwarte dam. The distance covered on the tour is approx. 60 km, spread over 4 hiking days. Altitude meters to be overcome: approx. 1200.
