Honda Grace (New City) Hybrid Review in Pakistan [2018]

Honda Grace is a hybrid sedan which has the same underpinnings and design of the 6th generation Honda City (#newhondacity) Although Honda Atlas Pakistan hasn’t introduced the 6th-generation Honda City in Pakistani market yet, but the local car importers have imported its hybrid counterpart, called Honda Grace. Part of the reason for its high preference in Pakistani market is its engine, which is also present in many new Honda vehicles. Honda Grace shares the 1.5L Earth Dreams engine with the following vehicles: 1. Honda Fit (Compact Hatchback) 2. Honda Vezel (Crossover Vehicle) 3. Honda Civic Turbo (10th generation) Despite the same engine, Honda uses different components and compression ratios for each of these cars, as they vary greatly in size and weight. Honda Civic Turbo has a different category and instead of pairing it with an electric motor, Honda has boosted it with a turbo-charger. In this review, BloomBig Studio tested the top of the line #HondaGrace EX, which comes with all bells and whistles. During our testing, Honda Grace delivered 17-19 KM/L in city traffic with A/C on, whereas, it got much better at constant highway speeds and averaged between 23-24 KM/L. Although these figures fall short of Honda’s official claims but considering the hot and humid weather of Lahore, Pakistan (40-43 Degree Celsius), it did a pretty good job of keeping all occupants cool and comfortable. 🔸Pricing and Model Line-up🔸 Honda Grace is not officially sold in Honda Atlas Pakistan Dealerships; hence, it is imported from Japan. Honda Grace is offered in the following trim levels: 1. DX: Base Model, Priced between 2.2 to 2.3 Million PKR 2. LX: Mid-Range, Priced between 2.3-2.4 Million PKR 3. EX: Top Variant, Priced between 2.5-2.6 Million PKR Please note that these prices are for 2014-2015 model year cars, the price of brand new Honda Grace would be higher due to higher import duties.
