As you probably already know, and as I clarified at the beginning of the video, Araujo isn't just one of my favorite players, I consider him the best center-back in the world, and I would never sell him. But the reality for Barcelona fans is different. They've devalued him. Right now, if they tried to sell him, 20 million would be the most they'd receive, so an offer of 100 million would be worth 120 million, as ridiculous as that sounds (and it is). I have no doubt that Araujo would be a world-class player with Simeone and his approach, and Atlético and Araujo would both benefit, plus Atlético would get 100 million to further strengthen the team. It would be a masterstroke for Atlético, but... aren't they interested? Is it because they want to challenge Barça out of childish ego, or because the boss, Real Madrid, has demanded they don't sell Julián to Barça?
