The Zbigniew Ziobro extradition case is entering a decisive phase, with the motion ready. Ziobro has been stripped of all his passports, including his Geneva one, and is now "trapped" in the US, with nowhere to flee. The prosecutor's office is still waiting for the court's justification for the arrest, so that the US document will be so precise that a US federal court will have no way to challenge it. At the same time, MSPG Żurek is preparing a letter to the US immigration authorities (ICE) asking on what basis Ziobro is staying in the US without valid travel documents. Żurek also plans to ask the US and Hungary how Ziobro left Hungary and entered the US, given that Poland and Hungary had invalidated his documents. This is an uncomfortable subject for the US State Department.
