Easy (Yes, Easy!) to Make Beef Jerky
Easy to make beef jerky is possible! Yes! While we haven't gotten to growing our own livestock yet... that may be a while... I'm getting ahead of the game in the process of preserving meat by making jerky. This recipe (see below) is easy to make and very delicious! Plus, you know exactly what is in your food when you make it. So you can be assured that you're only consuming real, fresh ingredients in this savory treat. Don't forget to "Like" and subscribe! Easy Beef Jerky Recipe: 2 - 3 lbs eye of round roast (trim off the fat!) 1/2 cup soy sauce 3 tbsps Worcestershire sauce 1 cup dark brown sugar 1 tbsp smoked paprika 1 tsp salt (Celtic preferred) 1 tsp ground black pepper 1 tsp red pepper flakes 1 tsp onion powder 1 tsp garlic powder Mix ingredients in a sufficiently-sized bowl and marinate for 1 to 2 days. Slice beef to 1 cm thick and wide (about a little less than 1/2 inch) and place on wire rack(s), then cook at 165°F for 4 1/2 hours in a food dehydrator or convection oven.
