Lake Atitlán & Antigua, Guatemala in a Truck Camper

In February of 2026 I crossed the border from Southern Mexico into Guatemala to explore Lake Atitlán and Antigua. My first stop was Panajachel where I met with members from the Rotary Club of Santa Barbara California to volunteer for a week with the Natün Guatemala organization. We spent the week cleaning terraced land for a future community garden as well as touring the local communities and meeting with students and graduates of the entrepreneurship and craft classes from the organization.
