IBSF World Championships Lake Placid - 2-Man Bobsleigh - Heat 2

During the first World Championships week in Lake Placid, five medal decisions will be made in the disciplines of Skeleton, Women's Monobob, 2-Man Bobsleigh and Skeleton Mixed Team. Athletes from a total of 38 nations - the highest number of nations represented in IBSF World Championships history - have qualified to start in Lake Placid. With 20 corners, more than any other track in the world, the Mt. Van Hoevenberg Combination Bobsled, Skeleton & Luge Track is a good match for the incredible sliders competing in the bobsleigh and skeleton - be it on the famous “Devil’s Highway” (corners 4 to 9), Benham’s Bend (corner 14) or “The Heart” omega curve (corners 19 to 20).
