If you haven't watched, please watch the Part I as well, which is more focusing on meeting local people through the trouble and update of my trike😇 ) Thanks to the help of the local people in the city, I was able to fix the trike's troubles and attach the "Traveling Around Japan" QR code that I had always thought about. My stay in Shimanto City turned out to be more eventful than I had imagined. On the day of departure, I decided to fully enjoy the Shimanto River by joining a sightseeing cruise. The 196km-long Shimanto River, with its naturally winding S-shaped route, allowed me to appreciate the seasonal changes in nature. The pristine environment and lush greenery felt like they cleansed my soul. I was also pleased to see the "Chinkabashi," the submersible bridge designed without railings, which gets submerged during high water levels. I felt that the grandeur of this clear stream reflected the warm-hearted kindness of the people of Shimanto. I also lastly savored the natural sweetfish caught in the river, which is also something I would recommend if you visit the city.
