Filmningar av bussar i Umeå från 9 till 12 februari 2023

Between 9 and 12 February 2023, Rally Sweden was held in Umeå. The 2023 arrangement was different from the 2022 one, with many activities moved to pay area at Red Barn Arena. The free shuttle “Citybus” operated between Vasaplan and Red Barn Arena, with the hours of operation more or less fit with the opening hours of the arena: Thursday 9 February = 16:30—22:00 Friday 10 February = 15:30—23:00 Saturday 11 February = 13:00—23:00 Sunday 12 February = 10:00—15:00 The Rally Sweden days were intense for me due to university assignments, which were revealed during afternoon on the 10th, and with a unified deadline on the 15th at 23:59. Since Red Barn Arena was a paid area, I decided not to enter it, just like in 2022, and that is why this video is more focused on buses than on the rally. During the rally days, I have spotted the following differences compared to 2022: ※ 9 February 2023 was the first days of operation of two brand new MAN Lion’s City articulated buses, which ran on the Citybus. The very first trip is in a separate video:    • 【Umeå】Ny ledbuss på den första Citybus-turen   ※ Line 9 had some short buses in 2022, but not in 2023. A few services had newer MAN Lion’s City articulated buses, built between 2016 and 2020, but otherwise, only older Volvo articulated buses operated the line. ※ Lines 3 and 75 had more articulated buses in 2023. One of the Midgård School — Innertavle services on 10 February was operated by one of the King Long electric buses. ※ In 2022, only city vehicles operated on the Citybus, while in 2023, some regional vehicles by Tians Taxi & Buss (Taxi and Bus of the Ten) were introduced on the same line (Thursday and Friday only).
