Grafting fruit with a drill belongs to the newer way of grafting fruit in which you can add a branch to the tree where it is missing, you need a 220v drill from tools or even better if you have a battery drill, countersink, wood drill and wood glue or some other material that will serve to close the empty space around the graft branch itself and the hole. The thickness of the wood drill bit depends on the grafted twigs you have and it should be a little thinner than the thickness of the wood itself. We took the grafted twigs when the vegetation was dormant and grafted them onto the main apple tree. I only showed you grafting with a drill on the example of an apple, and you can apply fruit grafting with a drill on other fruit trees as well. When drilling the hole itself, it is best to do it at a lower speed, otherwise heat will be generated (as you can see in my example in this video) and cambium tissue may be damaged.
