Hike over Knutshøe

Hike over Knutshøe, September 2024. Our first Hike over a Night, first "climbing" Tour. A great experience, very strenuous with a full hiking pack. But the views and impressions were great. But be careful, in my opinion it is a small hiking trail and you have to climb a lot in two places, right at the start of the trail and later on the last 85 meter climb to the top of the mountain. And the descent from the mountain is not easy either and you have to be very careful. We spent the night on a rock at the end of the mountain, it was very loud because of the glacier river lying below that flows into the Gjende. The way back at the foot of the mountain also involves climbing over fallen boulders in parts. The view from below up to the mountain is breathtaking. Beautiful and worth all the effort. Watch out for the eagles :) We saw them Have fun and take care of yourselves when you hike/climb here.
