Sesimbra, Portugal 😎 Beautiful Seaside Resort Full of History! South of Lisbon [4K]

Walking tour of Sesimbra, Portugal, with detailed historical information and context, as well as immersive ambient sounds. Sesimbra, located 40 km (25 miles) south of Lisbon, is a beach resort favored by the Portuguese who flock to the region for their holidays, drawn by the pristine beaches, relaxed atmosphere and excellent seafood restaurants. Sesimbra is situated on a sandy bay that nestles at the base of the Arrábida mountain range. Historically, Sesimbra was an important fishing town, and today it retains its distinctive Portuguese character and relaxed paced of life. High above Sesimbra is the Sesimbra Castle, built by the Moors in the 9th century, and intimately linked to the history of Portugal. ▶️▶️ Other towns mentioned in the video, check out this video: Setúbal -    • Setúbal, Portugal 😊Walking Tour of a Histo...   This walk was filmed in 4K resolution, first-person point of view with captions (no talking), for a more immersive experience! ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ 😃 If you like this video 😃 ▶️ Please Subscribe so you don't miss any of the new videos coming soon: https://www.youtube.com/POVTours?sub_... ▶️ Hit the Like button 👍 and share the video with your friends ▶️ If you'd like to support the channel you can 'buy me a coffee' ☕ at https://www.buymeacoffee.com/POVTours ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ⌚ Video chapters ⌚ 0:00 Intro to Sesimbra 1:03 Sesimbra castle 8:27 Castle trail 9:51 Sesimbra town center 25:15 Sesimbra beachfront ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ 📷 About POV Tours 📷 POV Tours - Portugal in 4K is all about immersive and relaxing walking tours.
