This walk begins at Wellington Street West & Spadina Avenue, on the western edge of Toronto’s downtown core. Heading east along Wellington Street, we pass through the Fashion District and approach the city’s Financial District, surrounded by office towers, historic buildings, and some of Toronto’s most recognizable streets. The route passes David Pecaut Square, a major public space located beside Roy Thomson Hall and the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. Continuing east, Wellington Street leads through the heart of the Financial District, crossing major intersections such as University Avenue, Bay Street, and Yonge Street. After crossing Yonge Street, Wellington transitions into Wellington Street East, entering one of Toronto’s oldest neighbourhoods. The walk continues through the St. Lawrence area, passing Berczy Park and the iconic Flatiron Building before reaching Front Street East near St. Lawrence Market.
