Bass Bites with Anne Luna: what my left thumb actually does while playing (mono audio)

Bass Bites: small, digestible bits of tips, tricks, licks and more for the double bass, all in under 10 minutes. Although there is an efficient, ergonomic hand position that is taught for the "fretting" hand on a double bass, my fingers--and especially my thumb--move into and out of that position while playing. This allows my hand to not become too rigid. Here, get a closer look at what my left thumb (I'm a right handed player) actually does when moving up and down the neck.
