Lost Valley, Stob Coire Sgreamhach, Bidean Nam Bian & Stob Coire nan Lochan - Glencoe 2026

This was the last day of a three week trip to Scotland in June 2026 and what a day it turned out to be! The colours of the mountains and the sky before I even started on the hike were amazingly vivid. I think it even comes through on the photos and videos. It was also the most strenuous hike I did as the weather hadn't entirely cooperated to allow me do the other hikes I had hoped - but that's ok as I will be back! The views from the tops of these mountains were just stunning. I met a number of lovely people while up there who were mad keen to chat, and that made it even more enjoyable. When the sky is blue in Scotland there cannot be a better place to be, than the top of a mountain, looking at the tops of hundreds more mountains!
