[Gameplay] First Look at DB BR 147… Until It Crashed | TSW6 | #201

Time for a first look at the newly released DB BR 147 in Train Sim World 6. This modern DB Regio passenger locomotive is mainly built around Frankenbahn: Stuttgart–Heilbronn, where it brings a more up-to-date 2018-era feel to the route with push-pull regional services using double-deck Dosto coaches. The BR 147 is designed for passenger work at up to 160 km/h, and DTG presents it as a newer-generation electric locomotive compared with the older traction already seen on the line.  In this video, I start with the Introduction and tutorial in the Training Centre, then move on to what was supposed to be a full showcase ride from Heilbronn to Stuttgart on an RB service. And yes — supposed to be is the key phrase here. On my very first proper run, the service unexpectedly ended after the train passed what looked like an invisible red signal shortly before Kirchheim. So if you’re planning to try service 19105 from Heilbronn to Stuttgart at 07:24, this video may also work as a warning. The locomotive itself feels promising, but this first ride definitely did not go as planned.
