On the show "Goucha," we heard the testimony of Mónica Ribeiro, 33 years old. This young woman says she survived one of the biggest natural disasters in memory: the 2004 tsunami in Thailand. At the time, she was only 13 years old and was on vacation with her parents on Khao Lak beach in Thailand. Alone, she managed to survive the fury of the sea that killed more than 200,000 people, including her parents, José and Maria Amélia Ribeiro. Today, Mónica lives in the USA, is married and has two children, and is keen to share her testimony, which was published in a book in 2023 - "Surviving a Tsunami At Thirteen." Mónica recalls how she was "helped," in spiritual terms, and thus managed to survive the tragedy that was the 2004 tsunami.
