LED Lighting Setup Overview for Props and Cosplay - Sergeant Calhoun Rifle

Just a quick video showing the lighting setup for my Sgt. Calhoun rifle. It's done with 12v strip lights and a 12v capable power supply. Both can be purchased on Amazon. Lights: http://goo.gl/3YA2vf Power Supply: http://goo.gl/O86dUj One thing I forgot to mention: Even though the LED's are colored it's best to match your transparent cover with the light color. In this example I used transparent red acrylic for the cover. That way if you're out in bright lighting the piece still looks correct. Otherwise, if the LED's get washed out and if your cover is clear, there will be no color showing.
