Mazda 3 2010 Cabin Air Filter Replacement

It was time to replace my Mazda 3 2010 Cabin Air filters. So I decided to record myself replacing the cabin air filters with a new set. CAUTION: Avoid accidentally shorting your AC blower motor resistor by removing the power cable with the white clip shown at approx 2:49 and 2:51. There is a small grove on the white clip you can slide a small flat head screw driver down and pry out the power clip: See    • Mazda 3 2010 - Remove AC Blower Resistor c...   for a short video showing the cable removal to the blower motor resistor. It should take only about 10 minutes time to un-clip the two panels, unscrew the air filter sensor compartment, and take out the old filters and replace them with a new set. The 2010 Mazda 3 has two cabin air filters, one sitting above the other that are bought and replaced as a set. Hopefully this video helps you replace your own! Only 10 minutes, a screwdriver and minor handyman skills required. Here's a video recording how to replace the old two air filters with a new set. Note: If you can't feel much air blowing on the first 1- 3 settings you likely need to replace your Cabin Air Filters!
