In the second episode of 'Behind The Seals', Myrthe takes you through our visitor center in Pieterburen for the very last time. You will also meet intern Mathilde, who shows how she prepares food for the seals. The Sealcentre cares for injured, orphaned, and sick seals 365 days a year. Currently still in Pieterburen, and from April 2025, in the WEC in Lauwersoog. The goal is to return them to the Wadden Sea as quickly as possible.🌊 We receive no subsidies and are therefore entirely dependent on donations, entrance fees, and legacies.
