DC Capital Pride Was Everything I Imagined | Gym, Cookouts, the Parade Float & More!

Happy Pride, y'all! 🏳️‍🌈 This one is special. I closed out DC Capital Pride the right way and I mean the RIGHT way. We started the weekend locked in at the gym, because getting back in shape and being the healthiest version of myself is a big part of this season of my life. Then it was off to the mall (those Nike Air Force lowtops had me in a chokehold 👀), a family cookout full of laughs and love, and a night out at the Howard Theatre. The next day? Me and Shanima headed to DC Capital Pride, and I got to ride a FLOAT in the parade with my friends. The outfits were outfits. The energy was unmatched. We ended the night at a party at Union Market and honestly... it was everything I imagined. I’m still new to this YouTube thing still learning how to walk y'all through my city, how to introduce where I'm going, how to tell these stories the right way. I didn't do that perfectly in this video, and I own that. But I promise you this: I get better with every single drop. The biggest lesson from this weekend? Stop working so much and start LIVING through it all. Being free, being surrounded by family and friends, being fully myself in my city that's what Pride is about. Happy Pride. 🖤 Like, share, subscribe, and keep following as I show you my life, unapologetically. — Jess #DCPride #CapitalPride #PrideVlog #DCVlogger #UnapologeticWithJess #Pride2026 #MascFashion #BlackQueerJoy #DCCreator #LifestyleVlog #startingover #fashion #wlw #joyfulmoments
