What's the difference between 按时 VS 及时 VS 准时

Hello, everyone, my name is shasha ,welcome to hanbridge mandarin school, In today's video, you will learn how to use these three Chinese words "按时(àn shí)" "及时(jí shí)" "准时(zhǔn shí)". Among these three words are connected with time and almost the same in the part of speech and usage. But they still differ in some detailed aspects, which we will analyze in the following. 按时：usually used as adv. ”按” means “according to”, so “按时” expresses according to the schedule time and stresses the regularity. 及时：“及”here means “while”, “及时” stressing do something without delay, used as adv. or adj. 准时：“准” here means “exact”, and “准时” here means “on time, at the exact moment”, used as adv. or adj. 1.你要按时吃药，这样病才能好。 You should take medicine according to the scheduled time, then you could recover soon. 吃药的时间一般都是有规律性的，所以这个句子用“按时”。 It’s regular to take medicine, so here we use “按时”。 2.一旦出现问题，我们必须及时解决。 Once the problem comes up, we must solve it in time. 问题出现以后，需要马上解决，这里用“及时”强调马上、不拖延时间。 See more Chinese free videos: http://www.hanbridgemandarin.com/cour...
