With no campsite booked and only a rough plan, we head towards Thornton-le-Dale and Dalby Forest to see what we can discover. Along the way, we stop for LPG, find a campsite right on the edge of Dalby Forest, and explore one of Britain's most picturesque villages. From riverside cottages and tea rooms to local shops and stunning scenery, Thornton-le-Dale quickly shows why it's regularly voted one of the prettiest villages in the UK. But as always, things don't quite go to plan. What starts as a lovely day soon turns into a battle against the unpredictable British weather, leaving us soaked, freezing cold, and questioning why we ever left home. We also take the bikes out for an evening ride through Dalby Forest, check out the Go Ape area, enjoy campsite life, and share a few motorhome tips along the way.
