66037 Rare Ballast Train up to GCG 05/03/2014

I was lucky today to be able to capture a Ballast train from Westbury, working the GCG Branch from Pantyffynnon, during daylight hours. We see the train taking the token from the Signalman at Pantyffynnon, and easing the heavy load onto the Branch. We then see it climbing the 1:40 incline up to GCG. Crossing the busy Main Road up towards Tairgwaith where the loco runs round its train, and finally we see it at Pontamman heading South for Pantyffynnon and on to Llaneilo Jnc before heading back to Westbury.
