ዮሐንስ አኅድአ - መዝሙር ዘቅዱስ ያሬድ በሊቀ ጠበብት ተክሌ ሲራክ

ከመስከረም 1 እስከ መስከረም 7 ባለ እሑድ የሚዘመር የቅዱስ ያሬድ መዝሙር። Hymn(Praise) of St. Yared for the Sundays between September 11 and 18 በ፭፤ ዮሐንስ አኅድአ እምካልዓኒሁ አንሐ ወክሐ፤ እንዘ ይብል እምላዕሉ ወረደ ቃለ አብ፤ ወተሀውከ ማየ ዮርዳኖስ እምግርማ መለኮት፤ ወደንገፁ ኵሉ ኃይለ ሰማያት ወምድር። ከማሁ ኮነ በቢታንያ በቤተ ራባ በማዕዶተ ዮርዳኖስ፤ ወሶበ ርዕዮ ዮሐንስ ለኢየሱስ፤ ከልሐ ወይቤ ነዋ በግዑ ለእግዚአብሔር። ይቤሎ ኢየሱስ ለዮሐንስ አጥምቀኒ በማይ፤ ክመ ይትቀደስ ማይ በማዕተበ ሰማይ። አጥመቆ ዮሐንስ ለኢየሱስ በፈለገ ዮርዳኖስ፤ እምድኅረ አጥመቀ ለሊሁ ተጠምቀ። ምሕሮሙ ለሕዝብ ወይቤሎሙ፤ አክብሩ ሰንበተ ተገበሩ ጽድቀ። John, more so than the other evangelists, spoke that the Son of God came down from heaven. The Jordan river was disturbed due to the majesty of His Divinity. The powers of heaven and earth were afraid. These things were done in Bitanya and Bethabara beyond Jordan, where John was baptizing. John spoke about the Word that became flesh that he may quiet the blustering of the troubled. When John saw Jesus he said “behold the Lamb of Gold”. Jesus said to John to baptize Him with water so that the water may be blessed with a sign from heaven (by Divine Power). And John baptized Jesus in the Jordan river. Jesus was baptized after (John) baptized everyone. He taught the people to honor the Sabbath and to do good.
