The new TRAVEL PRO from German company Büse may be the perfect jacket for such conditions. It features a three-layer construction, consisting of a removable windproof and waterproof Humax membrane. The insulation is a quilted jacket suitable for everyday use, and the main layer is made of soft and durable Tactel® fabric. As Petit says, this material makes these garments feel like a tracksuit. While the TRAVEL PRO doesn't offer much ventilation, it's well-thought-out, and thanks to the breathable mesh lining, air flows in and out and is distributed throughout the jacket. It features a wide range of adjustments for a better fit and even more pockets, ensuring all your travel essentials are within easy reach. The TRAVEL PRO comes standard with SAS-TEC level 2 shoulder and elbow protectors, and can be upgraded with a back protector, which isn't included. Although Büse hasn't yet offered dedicated trousers, the range includes the well-known OPEN ROAD II model, matching the TRAVEL PRO jacket. We had the opportunity to test the new model in various conditions, and it will be a suitable choice for someone looking for comfort and versatility on longer rides, with an emphasis on protection from temperatures closer to 15 degrees Celsius.
