A truly unforgettable day for West Bridgford Legion Cricket Club This special fixture marked 100 years of cricket at the Sir Julian Cahn Pavilion and West Park, celebrating a century of unforgettable matches, lifelong friendships, and the incredible people who have made our club what it is today. To commemorate this historic milestone, West Bridgford Legion welcomed the MCC for a fantastic celebratory match played in exactly the right spirit. While the cricket provided plenty of entertainment, the day was about so much more than the result. It was an opportunity to reflect on the club's rich history, celebrate the present, and look ahead to the next 100 years of cricket at West Park. With pizza fresh from the oven, a well-stocked bar, sunshine, smiles, and plenty of laughter, the atmosphere throughout the day was everything club cricket should be. It was wonderful to see so many current players, former members, families, supporters, and friends of the club come together to celebrate this incredible milestone. A huge thank you goes to the MCC for being part of such a memorable occasion, Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club for their support, Rushcliffe Borough Council, our local councillors, and James Naish MP for attending and helping us celebrate this landmark event. Your support means a great deal to our club and our community.
