The Spotted Swallow (Turnix suscitator) is one of Asia's most unique groundbirds, living hidden among bushes and open fields. Unlike most other birds, in this species, the female plays a more dominant role, while the male is responsible for incubating the eggs, guarding the nest, and raising the chicks until they are independent.
