Dr. Álvaro Salas-Castro is the President and CEO of The Reynolds Foundation and the Reynolds Family Office, where he leads global initiatives advancing individual freedom, civic leadership, and responsible investment. A respected voice in the international freedom movement, he works with leaders and institutions across sectors to strengthen open societies. As Founder and Chairman of The Democracy Lab Foundation (DemoLab), Dr. Salas-Castro fosters civic innovation through initiatives such as the BLISS Summit, Freedom Academy, and Freedom Accelerator, connecting activists, philanthropists, and entrepreneurs devoted to liberty and human dignity. He also serves on the Global Advisory Board of the Wilson Center and as a Board Member of the World Liberty Congress, and has served as Board Director in several regional investment funds bridging enterprise, governance, and strategy. Dr. Salas-Castro is Visiting Professor at Cornell University’s Jeb E.
