Even the most skeptical will be surprised by Ana Claudia's story. She grew up without knowing her father or her paternal family, but in 2003, a dream turned the Rio de Janeiro native's life upside down. In the dream, a man introduced himself, hugged her, and said he was her uncle. Upon waking, Ana went to find this man and discovered the entire story that had been kept from her for years! Ana had always sought to connect with her father, but was never successful. In 1998, her stepsister called her and told her that he had died. After this news, she gave up on finding out more about her paternal family and went on with her life as normal. Years later, in 2003, she had a very brief and strange dream. She dreamed of a very large man hugging her, introducing himself, and saying he was her uncle. When she wakes up, that name stays in her head and searches for a phone book at home to find out if that person really existed. But she didn't have one at home, so Ana gives up looking and goes out to take care of her business. Walking down the street, she finds a doorman from the neighboring building with the subscriber list in hand and approaches him (and scares him with excitement) asking to see it. She quickly explains what's going on and sets out to find the name of the supposed uncle from the dream. And she finds it! When she calls and tells him who it is, her uncle says he already knew it was her! They spend hours on the phone, her uncle full of questions about the family she's never met. From this conversation, they arrange to have lunch at Ana's paternal grandmother's house in the suburbs of Rio de Janeiro. On the day of, she discovers that everyone has always wanted to meet her, but for family reasons, they haven't sought her out. But that doesn't make the meeting any less special; on the contrary, it felt like it was meant to happen exactly as it did. Currently, Ana still has contact with her paternal family, especially her uncle Jair, whom she dreamed of and to whom she became attached as a daughter. And an interesting point about this story, which makes us believe that nothing happens by chance: on the day of the ter.a.pia recording, October 27, 2021, it was Ana's uncle's birthday.
