This is war in an Alternate History universe, now entering late autumn-early winter, 1861 and the terrible Civil War bloodshed is already hitting home. Men are nervously approaching another grisly encounter outside Leesburg, VA as you read this. Just a few weeks ago, a MASSIVE clash between Union & Confederate armies outside Fredericksburg, VA resulted in over 23,000 total casualties total, including more than 16,000 for the Union. The nature of this conflict is evolving the men and leaders on both sides are stiffening their resolve, especially in the North. The stubborn Unionists don’t appear anywhere near ready to quit the fight, despite such horrific casualties. BACKGROUND: Welcome to Alternate History Gaming! eCivil War is upon us! This stream focuses on military history and the tactical analysis of commanding forces in a strategy war game. In this session, we’re fighting this historic military campaign and this is “Liberating Kentucky”, part of my CSA Campaign in Grand Tactician Civil War.
