$14 million Porsche 917K blows up engine? (ouch)

This was a tough one to watch. It was sad to see the legendary 917K dump all of its oil out the back. It's still unknown what the exact damages are. I really hope it's something relatively small, like a piston ring or the crankshaft oil seal. Nevertheless it was an absolute pleasure to see this car on track again. Back in 1970 this particular chassis won the 1000km of Spa, driven by Jo Siffert and Brian Redman. Since then the car has been restored, with the chassis and engine still being 100% original. Nowadays the car is piloted by Jo's son Phillippe Siffert.
