School Education Department News Update about SSEs AEOs Teaching License Smart Syllabus Class 9

According to the senior minister Maryam Aurangzeb, no more permanent job will be offered by the government of Punjab to anyone. Contract based jobs will be created and the performance will be the key factor to stay in the jobs. For the senior school educators SSEs and assistant education officer AEOs, teaching license will be made compulsory. Teaching licensee will be issued for the period of 3 years and after the expiry of the licensee they will need to renew the teaching licensee. According to the education minister Rana sikandar Hayat, smart syllabus for class 9 will be applicable from the next session 2026-2027. This will not be applicable for the ongoing session. School Education Department government of Punjab has introduced new teaching module online course for the primary school teachers PSTs. The name of the course is higher order thinking skills HOTS.
