one WASH watercolors

Working with a single wash in watercolours is not only a huge amount of fun, it also really plays to the free flowing and luminous nature of the medium. In this little watercolour video I talk you through a recent painting I created using pretty much just a single wash in each area - with a few little finishing touches over the top.
