When I moved into this house, I thought I would live here alone with Piotte and a roommate, my friend Hannah. Well, it turns out my plans have changed since then, and we've had to rearrange every space to make it suitable for our family. What I love most is the freedom I've given myself to paint each room as I see fit, to add painted flowers to a door frame, and to find the most unusual little trinkets to delight my eye and that of everyone who crosses the threshold of our home. There's always something to look at, study, or admire—perhaps it's to satisfy ADHD, or the child that still lives within me. And I love that everything we own is now a collection of memories, each with its own little story. I like giving them a place to reside and endure. In short, this is my home.
