BENSON — City Councilman Mark Romero sits with us for an interview on Benson Kitchen Table. Romero, on the council since 2025, seeks to continue his tenure on the council. But to do so, he must outperform five other candidates for three available seats. The Primary Election is Tuesday, July 21, 2026, with the General Election slated for Tuesday, November 3. On January 13, 2025, the council met to appoint and swear in Romero as the new city council member to fill the seat vacated by Seth Judd.
