Let's play And Then There Were None | Without commentary | Four endings
It’s time to travel back to 2005 and revisit a point-and-click mystery game based on Dame Agatha Christie’s most renowned novel, And Then There Were None. Ten guests are invited to a weekend getaway on a small, deserted island off the coast of Devon. There, one by one, in line with an old nursery rhyme, they are systematically murdered. You play as Patrick Narracott, a boatman who's unwittingly entangled in solving the mystery at hand, interrogating each guest and searching every corner of the island for clues, and the killer. Developed by AWE Productions, writer and designer Lee Sheldon ensures that this reimagining of the world’s best-selling murder mystery remains true to the original. The only changes are the game’s four endings and the inclusion of you, the playable eleventh guest. Commentary version coming soon! The game is currently unavailable digitally, however, a physical copy can be found and purchased on Amazon and eBay. Add your vote to the GOG Dreamlist: https://www.gog.com/dreamlist/game/ag... After dinner, each guest is accused of a past crime via a gramophone message. Shortly afterwards, the first guest dies. And then there were nine. 01:52:01 Chapter 2 While everyone is asleep, Patrick decides to snoop around the mansion a little more. The next morning, Dr Armstrong announces to everyone that there has been another death. And then there were eight. 02:07:04 Chapter 3 Patrick explores the island thoroughly and discovers an apiary, some long-abandoned fishing villages, and a secret area within the mansion. Along the way, he collects a few items and some fingerprints. By dinnertime, another guest dies at the hands of the mysterious killer. And then there were seven. 03:49:10 Chapter 4 Patrick interrogates the guests to learn more about them, their pasts, and any secrets they may hide or know. He discovers a screening room in the mansion that celebrates the life and film career of its former owner, Gabrielle Steele. A fourth guest is murdered. And then there were six. 04:32:51 Chapter 5 The more Patrick questions the guests and tries to find the killer, the fewer answers he gets. As the pressure mounts, he decides to build a parachute to escape the island. After an unsuccessful landing in the sea, Patrick discovers a homing beacon attached to a buoy. Soon thereafter, a guest's body is found stung to death. And then there were five. 04:56:47 Chapter 6 Things take a sharp turn when Patrick discovers he’s been poisoned. Lombard’s gun disappears, and soon after, so does the mansion’s power. Amidst all the confusion, a sixth guest is shot to death. And then there were four. 05:09:41 Chapter 7 Patrick sees a figure leave the mansion and decides to investigate. Later, it is discovered that Dr Armstrong has completely vanished. And then there were three. 05:28:11 Chapter 8 Things are beginning to look bleak when two more dead bodies are discovered on the island. Patrick and the final two guests begin to suspect each other of being the killer. And then there were two. 05:36:02 Chapter 9 Patrick has the choice to either save one of the guests from being killed, or to let them die. 05:40:04 Chapter 10 The killer reveals themselves and their master plan. Patrick must act quickly before he becomes the next victim. 05:46:36 Ending 1 The best ending with Patrick and two of the guests surviving. 05:50:24 Ending 2 A reasonable ending, with Patrick and one of the guests surviving. 05:52:56 Ending 3 A poor ending, with Patrick and one of the guests surviving. 05:54:21 Ending 4 The worst ending, with only Patrick surviving. 05:54:53 Bonus A final puzzle to reveal the original ending as it was written in Dame Agatha Christie's novel. 06:07:09 Credits
