Renault Zoe - we test out this zippy new affordable electric car [Review]

http://www.redferret.net/?p=41367 .The Renault Zoe is a new electric car which combines practical levels of comfort and roominess not seen in this class of low cost super mini. For the first time you don't have to be a millionaire to afford a proper electric car. The Zoe is zippy around town, great fun to drive and ultra quiet. The only downside is you have to live with a battery range of just 80 miles, which is fine for running around town, but just too short to allow for convenient longer trips. It's early days, so that range will clearly improve as time passes, but for now it's a little restricting. But overall, we loved the experience of swooshing past gas stations with a cheery wave, safe in the knowledge that we were immune from any price rises in Dubai. Unfortunately we had to give it back after the review, so we're now back to the smelly black stuff. Electric cars. We like 'em.
