Bangalore Ooty by car - We visited ooty at the end of March by our new car Hyundai venue turbo executive and the experience was incredible. The return journey was a route different from the way through which we visited Ooty. This return route was from Ooty-Gudalur-Masinagudi-Mudumali-Bandipur-Mysore-Bangalore.The drive is 300kms which is around 7-8 hours. This route is longer than the hair pin bend route but is as adventurous & beautiful as the hairpin bend route. You can plan your return from Ooty visiting a lot of view points on the way like Pine forest, wenlocks down, pykara lake, eucalyptus forest, needle rock etc. We tested our new car as well driving through the highways and hills and was quite happy with the performance and comfort, expect the mileage which was little dissapointed.
