Tomahawks: More Than Just a Weapon
The tomahawk is unique to the American frontier, and its use in battle helped to shape conflict and battle. In this video, I briefly discuss the history of the tomahawk and its importance as a weapon and a symbol. I draw heavily from the research and theories of Dr. Wayne Van Horne and his research on southeastern tribes and war clubs/tomahawks. You can find it on Academia. Music by D Wiggins. I am glad to be back making videos again and I look forward to putting them out for your education and enjoyment!
