Surfing the Nectar Flow... and Failing the Beekeeping Workload! 🌊🐝

The Nectar Flow is FULLY on, the heat is rising, and the beekeeping workload is officially out of hand! 🥵🐝 In today's video, I’m taking you along for the chaotic reality of mid-summer beekeeping. We are currently experiencing a massive chestnut and bramble nectar flow, which usually peaks right around late June and the first week of July. To be completely honest with you all... I have been working myself to the bone trying to get round every single colony, but I'm still failing to keep up in some respects. The workload right now is just staggering. In this episode, we’re tackling the big questions: Super Management: Did I actually get all the supers on in time, or did the bees beat me to it? Colony Inspections: Checking in on the hives to see how they're handling the heat. The Big Question: How long will this incredible flow actually last before it Peters out? Swarm Season: Is this finally the end of swarming pressure for the year? Despite feeling a step behind, we are virtually there and pushing through to the finish line.
