Miraflores: One of Lima, Peru's Top Neighborhoods

Lime, Peru contains over 40 districts, but most visitors concentrate on two of those neighborhoods, when deciding where to stay. This video features one of those neighborhoods, Miraflores. In addition to the shops, restaurants and bars that tourists always seek, Miraflores also contains surfing, ancient ruins and a majestic clifftop location and million dollar views of the Pacific Ocean. Miraflores could easily be the best neighborhood in Lima! Music provided by Epidemic Sound. Having retired in 2023, I now travel full-time, seeing places all around the world. My idea for YouTube is to make the videos more about the places and people along the way, than about me. I hope that the experience for you is both entertaining and educational. Perhaps you will come away from my channel with ideas about places you would like to visit or be inspired to forge your own way. I travel slowly, spending four or five weeks in each destination. Hopefully, that will allow me to go beyond the surface to find the essence of each location. By the end of 2024, I will have visited 14 countries and five of the seven continents.
